Having grown up with dogs in our lives, it seemed natural to continue owning dogs after we were married. The first dogs that came to live at the Munro's house were 2 German Shepherds. After a few years we were introduced to Boxers and received great delight along with some frustration showing and breeding them for the next 10 years.
Our first encounter with a Border Terrier came when we were visiting a Boxer owner in NSW who also owned this scruffy little dog with an enormous amount of energy and personality. Gary's love for the breed was instant, so he found a breeder in Brisbane - Tom and Anne Morrow - and placed an order. Wanda (Rulewater Wild Woman) arrived in 1999, winning our hearts as well as many in class and in show awards. Even though we were advised by Tom and Anne that "Border Terriers don't win as much as Boxers", we were enjoying the breed so much that we began breeding Borders in 2000 and have continued to so.
